In a statement by the Spokesperson of the Social Security Corporation Mr. Mousa Subeihi, he said that the number of people who are included under the umbrella of Social Security has reached 1 million 333 thousand people. Of these people, 60,000 are non-Jordanians, which is equal to 12% of those who are registered.
 

In 2019, the insurance revenues of the corporation have amounted to one billion and 804 million JODs. Meanwhile, the insurance expenses have amounted to one billion and 236 million JODs, while the insurance surplus hit 568 million JODs. He also indicated that the monthly pension bill amounted to 100.7 million JOD for the month of January.

Subeihi also said that the insurance assets reached 10 billion and 980 million JODs, which is an increase of 790 million JODs compared to what was recorded at the beginning of 2019 with a growth rate of about 8%. The corporation also registered an increase in the income it generated from the investment last year, as it reached 559 million JODs, compared to 434 million JODs for the year 2018, with a growth rate that reached 29%.
